September 21, 2004 A.D. - Dunsparce joins the forums.
November 1, 2004 A.D. - The Halloween Conflict. In response Recon Dye’s Halloween comic, many Pebble Version fans, including the author Josiah, criticize Recon Dye’s comic and vow revenge. Speculation of an upcoming forum attack by Pebble Version fans emerges and Pokémon-X forum members prepare themselves just in case. Recon Dye even suggests that he is “sick of him” and “it's time to take him down... once.. and for all…”
November 2, 2004 A.D. - The Halloween Conflict. Members from Pebble Version register on the forum, including two named Pokchu and shadedspriter. They are immediately suspected of “spying” but state their cause as a call for peace and want to avoid a possible forum war. Recon Dye agrees, stating that flaming is usually pointless, but he would attack if needed. He creates “Operation: Crow,” a plan to be initiated if the situation worsened. Josiah joins the forums and asks all forum members to read what he posted on the Pebble Version website. Aside from minor incidences of spam, no major altercation takes place. This conflict makes Josiah remove a Pokémon-X link he had on the links page of Pebble Version and creates a rule on his forum to prohibit any discussion about Pokémon-X.
November 7, 2004 A.D. - Rick Xeros joins the forums.
December 17, 2004 A.D. - banov, now known as Banov, joins the forums.
March 2, 2005 A.D. - daveshn joins the forums.
April 14, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. daveshn starts a discussion of new Pokémon video games. Since no proof is provided confirming the games’ existence, it is merely optimistic speculation.
April 16, 2005 A.D. - bobtherandomguy joins the forums.
April 26, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. VMag revives the Pokémon Pearl and Diamond discussion and uses a Wikipedia page to claim that Wikipedia knows no more about the speculated games than Serebii does. mjc0961 finds the fact that VMag uses a Wikipedia page as ridiculous. Even though several members are positive the games will exist, mjc0961 dissents because Nintendo never officially announced their existence. mjc0961 believes members are only discussing a rumor.
June 9, 2005 A.D. - nathanhsu joins the forums.
June 9-11, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. nathanhsu claims that he has caught almost every single Pokémon in Diamond and Pearl. Members either tell nathanhsu the games are not even released yet or he plays something that does not exist.
June 20-24, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. bigbboy1234 believes nathanhsu might have obtained a bootleg copy, but VMag jokes that nathanhsu is actually from the future. Seeing this, mjc0961 tells him not to spam the thread due to a “real discussion” taking place. VMag ignores mjc0961’s request, only to have mjc0961 remind VMag that Recon Dye has warned VMag about spam in the past and advises him to stop. VMag retorts that mjc0961 turns simple threads into large-scale flame matches and daveshn intervenes and sides with VMag’s observation.
June 24, 2005 A.D. - Rei, now known as CoNfUsEd~*~CiRcUiTrY, joins the forums.
June 25, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. mjc0961 becomes defensive and claims both VMag and daveshn act pathetically. VMag tries to diffuse the situation, but since mjc0961 believes VMag started off with the “he came from the future” comment, VMag should retract all of his posts up to now. mjc0961 also believes that since daveshn told him to reduce the amount of swear words in his posts, daveshn attempted to impose his religious beliefs onto him, which VMag tries to disprove.
June 26, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. daveshn claims the topic was created because he wanted to “draw people's attention to it and to find any other rumers about it floating around the internet.” The altercations is diffused and tapers off into gaming discussion once more.
July 16, 2005 A.D. - demonicchocobo, now known as DemonicChocobo, joins the forums.
July 24, 2005 A.D. - Banov creates Banov’s Amazing Pokémon Adventures (BAPA), another popular fan fiction.
August 3, 2005 A.D. - edric joins the forums.

September 10, 2005 A.D. - mjc0961 founds “People for the Ethical Treatment of Brendan’s Nuts” (PETBN), a major group garnering much support. It is created in response to members who constantly suggest that Brendan gets kicked in the groin again as storyline suggestions. Group followers show support by having a signature with red text for PETBN.
October 12-22, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. Sources such as IGN begin to confirm the new Pokémon games, but mjc0961 remains skeptical due to the lack of Nintendo-confirmed reports.
October 21, 2005 A.D. - Royalty joins the forums.
October 22-November 9, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. Several more sources begin to confirm the existence of new Pokémon games; however, because Nintendo has not announced anything in relation to the game, mjc0961 remains unconvinced.
November 8, 2005 A.D. - The Team Battles. harr9, who recently joined, proposes the idea of forum members setting up a “team war” RPG spoof of Team Magma and Team Aqua “battling” each other for fun. Banov becomes the leader of Team Magma and Lance Falcon becomes the leader of Team Aqua.
November 21-29, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. mjc0961 continues to deny the existence of new Pokémon games. daveshn discovers the new games are to include Wi-Fi capabilities, rendering Net Battle useless. mjc0961 sarcastically jabs at daveshn for still “buying into a rumor.” Other reliable sources are presented, but mjc0961 ignores them because no official Nintendo source is given. According to Dunsparce, Nintendo of Japan (NoJ) confirmed the games as well as CoroCoro, but admits nothing from Nintendo of America (NoA) has been released. bigbboy1234 remains neutral on the issue, but uses deductive reasoning to formulate guesses, using gamespot.com as a source. Nevertheless the argument becomes more passionate and mjc0961 closes his argument by telling others “the games do not exist, and this topic should be locked and everyone who assisted in the spread of this stupid rumor should lose 10 karma.”
November 29, 2005 A.D. - The Team Battles. mjc0961 suggests that both teams be disbanded because nobody gains anything from the opposing team other than flames and spam. Participants agree and let the teams fade away.
December 1, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition Dunsparce and mjc0961 escalate their arguments, including diatribes and ad hominem in their posts. Dunsparce reposts links previously mentioned and mjc0961 dismisses them as third-party links that fail to establish anything. mjc0961 claims that he does not doubt the games exist; he simply does not think they do exist.
December 9, 2005 A.D. - The “Worst Ever Comic Contest,” a contest created by DemonicChocobo, debuts. The winner of this contest is daveshn.

December 15, 2005 A.D. - harr9 is banned due to spam, posting pornographic links, and referencing drug abuse on the forums.
December 21, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. An alternate account is created and impersonates mjc0961. The impersonator spams a thread in General Discussion, with only DemonicChocobo noticing the posts. Confused, he questions why mjc0961 and kult7 are not acting like themselves.
December 22, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. mjc0961 logs on and confirms the mjc0961 DemonicChocobo saw is an impostor. The false mjc0961 deletes his posts and eventually deletes the account, which DemonicChocobo could not quote or identify anymore.
December 23, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. Recon Dye bans kult7 for making alternate accounts to impersonate other members of the forum, one of which is mjc0961. DemonicChocobo is relieved that the imposter is uncovered and banned.
December 26, 2005 A.D. - King Chaos joins the forums.
December 29, 2005 A.D. - Gangs of the Pokémon Underworld chapter 27 is released. This is the last chapter published on the forums.
January 2, 2005 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. No official announcement or confirmation by NoA is made, so daveshn asks that nobody posts in the Diamond/Pearl discussion thread unless they have proof from NoA.

January 9, 2006 A.D. - djgeier, now known as CATZEN, joins the forums.
January 13, 2006 A.D. - Royalty is banned due to spam and flaming members.
February 1, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. mjc0961, supposedly offended by a comment DemonicChocobo makes asking mjc0961 if he “was TRYING to start another flame war,” creates a topic indicating that all he said was “it’s easy to smite others.” mjc0961 makes the thread in regards to the karma system that is set up and asserts that DemonicChocobo is trolling. DemonicChocobo refuses to apologize over the issue and claims that mjc0961’s post is “hilarious” and gives him karma.
February 2, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. Unsatisfied by DemonicChocobo’s response, mjc0961 speaks with Recon Dye in an IM chat. Recon Dye suspends DemonicChocobo for two days.
February 3, 2006 A.D. - The Smiting Incident. daveshn asks mjc0961 why he is accusing somebody of breaking a rule while at the same time breaking another rule - the rule on foul language. mjc0961 responds by stating that he is not breaking any rules because he is not swearing excessively enough to break any rules. He then accuses daveshn of being hypocritical for spamming since daveshn is not making contributions to the topic at hand.
February 12, 2006 A.D. - King Chaos, alleged of posting a racist remark along the lines of: “only people who are white may live and all other races are inferior and are low as hell itself”, is banned.

April 11, 2006 A.D. - bobmart joins the forums.
April 11, 2006 A.D. - In hopes of trolling, bobmart creates a topic criticizing Pokémon-X and labels it as the worst comic ever. bobmart mentions “poor graphics, little to no comedy, no action, obscene behavior and ‘NO WOW FACTOR’” as factors of how the comic is terrible. Members react negatively and criticize bobmart for lapses of proper judgment when talking about Pokémon-X. His poor grammar and “outrageous” claim of “obscene behavior” is also condemned. The forum members then defend the comic by claiming its MA rating is there for a reason. bobmart admits he is not serious in his post and it is his way of saying “hello.” Banov comments that even though he does not support bobmart’s opinion or actions, members responding to bobmart should not have been so critical. Because of the incident, bobmart receives negative reputation and unfavorable standing on the forums.
April 17-28, 2006 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. Dunsparce and mjc0961 begin to argue again over the existence of the new Pokémon games. Dunsparce finally gives up and tells mjc0961that “Diamond and Pearl WILL come out in the future. And Once they do, I'll NEVER let down about your constant doubting.” gojithefox posts evidence from Nintendo’s message boards but mjc0961 believes any information from a forum is “incredibly stupid” and remains adamant that Diamond and Pearl are still rumors.

May 27, 2006 A.D. - The Diamond/Pearl Inquisition. daveshn posts a link from a first party source of the new Pokémon games. The debate over the games’ existence ends because of this.
June 8-14, 2006 A.D. - The Redemption. CATZEN announces his return to the forums after a long period of inactivity. Because of his negative history and frequent post deletion, many members show disappointment and refuse to welcome him back. mjc0961 defends CATZEN by saying gojithefox, who left about a month ago, is worse than CATZEN and asks why people sided with gojithefox but resent CATZEN. Despite CATZEN’s tendency to create trouble in the past, mjc0961 points out CATZEN deleted a majority of his own posts because he wants other forum members to forgive him. mjc0961 demands CATZEN be granted a second chance.
July 7, 2006 A.D. - Rick Xeros presents his comic, Digimon Legends, to the forum. It becomes a popular Digimon comic gains much support on the forum.
July 9, 2006 A.D. - Dragonice315 joins the forums.
July 18, 2006 A.D. - twilightmoon, a member from Pebble Version, joins the forums.
July 26, 2006 A.D. - The “n00b” Opinion. According to mjc0961, Banov accuses mjc0961 of thinking that Recon Dye is a noob. mjc0961 creates a topic about the issue, being sarcastic about the problem the entire time. Many believe the topic to be pointless and will not help solve anything, but mjc0961 insists he created it to be informative and proves Banov “feeds me opinions.” The topic devolves into calling out who is a “n00b” on the forum and who isn’t.
July 28, 2006 A.D. - DemonicChocobo notices characteristics of new members and develops disdain toward them. Partly inspired by the events surrounding n00b Opinion, he creates a humorous topic called “On The Origin of Noobs.”
July 30, 2006 A.D. - rual77, now known as Joey Wheeler, joins the forums.
August 1, 2006 A.D. - The Authority Complex. Joey Wheeler posts a topic titled “BAN BOBMART” asking bobmart to be banned. Veterans believe that he is overstepping his boundaries as a new member, but support the thread anyway. Other members suggest banning Joey Wheeler instead.
August 2, 2006 A.D. - The Authority Complex. Tired of seeing Banov and mjc0961 flaming each other constantly, Joey Wheeler creates thread titled “mjc0961 and banov flame thread.” mjc0961 believes Joey Wheeler is overstepping his boundaries as a new member and threatens to flame him. Very little flaming actually takes place between mjc0961 and Joey Wheeler and members begin to view the topic as a spam thread.
August 10, 2006 A.D. - shedra joins the forums.
August 14, 2006 A.D. - The Authority Complex. The topic title of Joey Wheeler’s first thread is changed to “BAN SHEDRA AND POKEMONHATER.”
August 15-17, 2006 A.D. - The Authority Complex. mjc0961 becomes disappointed in Joey Wheeler for “thinking you can tell us what to do” and declares that he will flame whoever and wherever he pleases. Although urged not to reply to mjc0961 any more, Joey Wheeler says he is tired of the flaming mjc0961 is causing and cannot understand why Banov is being flamed in the first place. Banov points out that nothing will change, citing how Recon Dye asked mjc0961 to stop posting pictures of vomiting people in Banov’s topics to no avail.
August 19-22, 2006 A.D. - The Grammar Nazis Conflict. Rick Xeros creates a topic expressing his displeasure of the new fad of “n out of n” threads and calls them “overrated and stupid.” Banov concurs and adds each thread that is fashioned from the “n out of n” pattern becomes “stupider.” mjc0961 points out to Banov that “stupider” is not a word. A small argument with Banov begins, but bobmart interjects and argues that “stupider” is a word, citing the definition of “word” from an online dictionary.
August 25, 2006 A.D. - Recon Dye creates a Pokémon-X RPG and adds a section for it on the forums.
August 26, 2006 A.D. - The Grammar Nazis Conflict. bobmart continues to insist “stupider” is a word, but mjc0961 counters that “ain’t” can be found in a dictionary but that does not mean it is a word. bobmart claims that “ain’t” is also a word.
August 26-28, 2006 A.D. - The Authority Complex. Banov asks mjc0961 to stop flaming him using a mock of what mjc0961 said earlier. mjc0961 later admits he does not hate Banov, which surprises many.
August 30-31, 2006 A.D. - The Grammar Nazis Conflict. bobmart argues that mjc0961 is still incorrect and provides the definition given by the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary of “word.” To bobmart, both “stupider” and “ain’t” are words by this definition. bobmart cites another thread where mjc0961 used “biatch” and “necroposting” in his posts. bobmart concludes that by the logic mjc0961 is using, mjc0961 also uses non-existent words. After several posts between each other, mjc0961 spots a misspelling of “hypocrite” by bobmart. Soon after, bobmart edits his post and claims he made no spelling errors, despite the edit tag indicating the post is modified after mjc0961 made mention of a misspelling. He then says mjc0961 has no proof that an edit is made after the mistake is brought to light.
September 1-11, 2006 A.D. - The Grammar Nazis Conflict. mjc0961 and bobmart still argue, both sides each claiming they win the argument. Both arrive at a stalemate, using the opponent’s logic against each other. The argument even goes so far as to accuse bobmart of dictating what are and are not words and not referencing a dictionary to solidify claims. bobmart promises if mjc0961 answers questions he presents regarding what are and are not words, he will stop posting on the forum.
September 12, 2006 A.D. - The Grammar Nazis Conflict. bobmart finally concedes. The promise bobmart makes earlier is ignored and bobmart continues to post. The conflict ends, making a significant point of how stubborn both users are.
September 20, 2006 A.D. - bobmart is banned from the forums due to flaming and spamming. Because the ban topic for bobmart is not created until November 15, 2006 A.D., mjc0961 posts bobmart’s IP address in his signature.
September 20, 2006 A.D. - bigbboy1234 is promoted to moderator of the Fan Fiction section.
September 21, 2006 A.D. - The karma feature of the forum is deleted due to the problems and retribution arising from the function.
October 1, 2006 A.D. - Ace4698 joins the forums.
October 6-7, 2006 A.D. - The “Blown Away” Incident. Unsatisfied with the hostility mjc0961 displays toward others on the forums, Away confronts mjc0961 suggesting that if mjc0961’s combative approach ceased, others would not feel the need to make “stupid” posts. Away then adds “But to STAY ON TOPIC” in his post and contributes to the topic at hand. mjc0961 interprets Away’s statement as pompous and how Away “acted like he owned the place” and retaliates by posting a defamatory picture directed toward Away. The confrontation spills into another thread where Away sees another fight where people “argue like little twelve year old girls.” mjc0961 continues bashing Away and makes fun of his username and posts, calling him a “prick” who is “really making a rush for (Kevin Clifford’s) title of second dumbest forum member.” Away becomes offended and wonders why he encountered a veteran who mocks anybody who doesn’t agree with him. Away declares his leave from the forum because of mjc0961’s hostility and tells him to “go die. You’re a waste of life.”

After some time, Recon Dye gives mjc0961 a 30-day suspension on the forums. Upset, mjc0961 decides he will not return to the forums. Though others are unsure of the true nature of what happened, many are relieved that mjc0961 is gone. mjc0961 soon receives a demotion back to a regular member.

A Pokémon-X coloring contest is in progress, where BAM creates a coloring page that participants have to finish. bj, not wishing to enter the contest, takes a copy of the picture and modifies it by putting devil horns on Recon Dye, among other edits, and replaces BAM’s signature with his own. Feeling that it is a copyright violation, BAM orders the picture be removed.
June 17, 2008 A.D. bj’s Last Stand. It is revealed that bj has disdain for BAM because BAM refused to make a request for bj since she is only doing commissions at the time. bj immediately praises other peoples’ art and critiques BAM whenever possible.

He asks Recon Dye to make this dream comic a reality. Unimpressed, SeriousJupiter calmly explains that this idea is the “weirdest crap” he has ever read and accuses pokemonxmaniac of being high on drugs. SeriousJupiter suggests that pokemonxmaniac reads the rules and welcomes him. pokemonxmaniac fires back at SeriousJupiter that he read the rules and warns SeriousJupiter not to post like that again. SeriousJupiter respects pokemonxmaniac’s contribution to the forum, but says his idea is “ridiculous” and apologizes if he hurt pokemonxmaniac’s feelings. SeriousJupiter also jokes around when the word filter for the misspelling of “Brendan” changes pokemonxmaniac’s post, calling him an idiot. While others comment on the thread, pokemonxmaniac gets the idea that SeriousJupiter is picking on him for no reason, but others are curious as to why he abuses emoticons and the post sign so many times. Pokemonxmaniac lashes out at BAM and tells her she does not deserve the power she possesses. After the conversation goes nowhere, SeriousJupiter sends Recon Dye a message requestion pokemonxmaniac’s banishment.

Feeling that the Spam Lounge results in an influx of spam rather than a reduction of spam throughout the forum, DemonicChocobo asks members to persuade and convince him to let the thread live on. If he isn’t convinced, he will lock it. A few support the thread to stay, while mostly moderators wish for it to be locked. abizarro and Nintendoowned give insightful reasoning for the thread to remain open.
January 19, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge. DemonicChocobo, unimpressed that only a few of the many frequent posters of the thread attempt to make decent and intelligent posts, contemplates locking the thread. He then reviews what Rick Xeros and Gooman say and concludes he will not let the thread be locked forever, but rather, he will take a single week to reflect upon the situation and decide if the Spam Lounge should remain locked or not.
January 20-26, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge. chaoman45 realizes that DemonicChocobo really wanted intelligent discussion rather than mindless spam plaguing the board and types up a defense in a separate thread. He gives reasons as to why the Spam Lounge should be unlocked for future use and allows others to speak their viewpoints, as well. Pleased with the thread, many contribute their perspectives and their testimonies. DemonicChocobo informs the users that he is fairly lenient when it comes to off-topic discussion so long as it is interesting, but became worried that topics were purposely killed off or forced discussion took place just because it could. He admits that he has no problem with the Spam Lounge because he did not read it much, but thought the Spam Lounge increases spam within General Discussion due to the number of topics he locked in a short period of time. The thread reveals that a vast majority either supports the thread or don’t care either way.
January 26, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge. The Spam Lounge is unlocked. DemonicChocobo determines that there is no evidence of spam actually increasing as a whole because he only cites a couple of unnamed members that cause problems and imposes rules, giving the Spam Lounge conditions so it may remain open.

After many comment of how Shadane has no authority on the matter, he apologizes and Recon Dye deletes the topic the same day. Though the topic lasts for only a few hours, this minor incident underscores the disruption that missingno has caused the forum.
June 14, 2009 A.D. - The Scapegoat Incident. The moderating team discusses what action, if any, should be taken against missingno due to disruptive behavior. Since being “stupid” is not technically a rule violation, he does not receive a ban.

January 10-11, 2010 A.D. - Shutdown. daveshn returns from his sporadic breaks in forum activity to propose locking the Spam Lounge due to the fact that it diverts attention and activity from other parts of the forum. daveshn makes several arguments for the closure in a separate thread in favor for “actual conversations.” Several members, namely the moderators, support daveshn; however, Panda voices his opposition because he believes having various threads instead of only one thread to discuss topics becomes tedious to monitor, in addition to new members possibly feeling intimidated by creating a new thread. To back his argument, Panda mentions that he is speaking from experience and currently remains in a state where he fears punishment in case he posts something potentially against the rules. Panda threatens to taper off his activity until he is “mostly gone” from the forum if the Spam Lounge closes, although he never actually threatens to leave entirely.
January 12, 2010 A.D. - Shutdown. DemonicChocobo announces his decision to close the Spam Lounge in daveshn’s proposal thread. He does, however, agree to leave it open until the Spam Lounge reaches page 900, which at the time means that there are 51 pages left until its closure. Despite Panda telling the forum “good-bye”, boogieman900 manages to talk Panda into staying on the forum.

March 11, 2011 A.D. - Cabinet complains of having difficulty accessing the original Pokémon-X wiki and suggests using a new site for the wiki. chaoman45 agrees and allows Cabinet to take over the project fully.
March 11-13, 2011 A.D. The Spoilers Incident. Cabinet once again modifies Panda’s post, only to have Panda re-edit his post and tells Cabinet he does not like moderators “messing with” his posts and replaces the spoilers. Tired of the back-and-forth nature of the escalating conflict, Cabinet posts in large font not to modify the post again. Panda ignores Cabinet’s message and edits anyway. Cabinet then resorts to a personal message to Panda and warns him to stop. Frustrated, Panda asks why he cannot edit his posts without trouble and Cabinet replies that Panda is free to edit what he wants just as long as spoilers are excluded. Cabinet refers the situation to Recon Dye and Panda is suspended for seven days.

December 23, 2005 A.D. - The “Who Are You?” Incident. Recon Dye bans kult7 for making alternate accounts to impersonate other members of the forum, one of which is mjc0961. DemonicChocobo is relieved that the imposter is uncovered and banned.

January 15, 2009 A.D. - DemonicChocobo’s Challenge.
