There have been a few issues because they were not previously defined in the original rules. So here are a few more things to be mindful of before a mod does something bad to your profile/messages:
1. There should not be big sigs of nothing. Keep it within reasonable size.
2. Don't advocate or encourage flame wars on other forums or this forum. This is a forum to have discussion on a comic, not to have ****storms every week.
3. Some areas of the forum are modded by different people, and they may or may not be as receptive to necroposting. Usually, if you have worthwhile and a motive to encourage intelligent discussion, a mod might allow you to bump a topic. Then again, they might not. Ask before you carry out a necropost.
4. Stop mini-modding. If you’re not a moderator, don't enforce the rules. If something breaks the rules, report it, but don’t reply to it. No more insults to the effect of “u broke the rules ur not supposed 2 do that reported.”
5.Keep spam in the Spam Lounge and the Spam Lounge only. Spam Lounge died. So kill all spam with fire.
6. Do not ask for a staff position. If you do, your chances of actually being modded will be diminished greatly. If we want you, WE will come to YOU.
7. There have been some concerns about the Mod Squad banning if you post off-topic. This isn't the case. Generally mods warn before taking any action. We have never infracted before a warning in regards to off-topic posting. Mods themselves cannot ban members; only Recon can.
Do not post here. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
