I'm also on Route 3, Cabinet.
My team is Snivy, Panpour, and Purrloin.
I couldn't think of any good names for mine, so I'm not going to nickname for awhile.

I found Purrloin to be a magnet for critical hits, so I boxed mine eventually. :\

I'm probably going to box Purrloin after it evolves.
Also, I have two new members for my team. Tympole and Sawk.
And I'm about to face the 2nd gym.

I finished the game! Woo!
The Elite Four was standardly easy, N was tough and Ghetsis... HE BEAT ME! So much for my perfect win streak... Oh well, I beat him on my second try. That Hydreigon of his is a beast.
I caught Reshiram with a Master Ball. I wonder if I'll regret it some day.
Oh, and my Reshiram is Adamant. Groan.

Well, I'll never use it again, so it doesn't really matter. It already did its job - it beat many of N and Ghetsis's pokémon.

New team line-up for my fight against the 4th gym:
Snivy, Palpitoad, Sawk, Krokorok, Scraggy, and Archen
Also, once I can find a friend who will lend me their DS, I can activate the Zoroark event.

Holy snap, the Trainers in eastern Unova have some high level pokémon. Maybe I should train my team up a bit in the Victory Road before going any further...
Nah. I'll just buy Revival Herbs.
My team is now at level 51, except Alan, who is at level 58.
I've also captured twelve pokémon who I'll EV train later. They are an Adamant Zebstrika (Gwen), Adamant Drilbur (Huey), Lonely Sawk (Ian), Adamant Darumaka (Jenna), Adamant Scraggy (Kyle), Modest Litwick (Lucius), Lonely Cubchoo (Meryl), Mild Deino (Nico), Brave Deerling (Oscar), Naughty Minccino (Pam), Lonely Bouffalant (Quilteej), and Rash Joltik (Rebecca).
They have good natures, and as a little bonus, they've all been infected with the PokéRus. My main team already healed from the PokéRus, but they didn't really need it.

Wow! I just hatched my mild Deino!  they've all been infected with the PokéRus. My main team already healed from the PokéRus, but they didn't really need it. FFFFFFFFF I never get PokéRus. |

My dad got me by surprise and bought me White. Got a male Snivy, named it Sir Smug. Also considering my laziness I'll unintentionally be leveling up Sir Smug only, because I'm lazy. [Edit] I encountered Team Plasma at the hall. I like to call them Team Hypocrites. Because although their goal is libertation of all Pokemon, the grunts always keep their Pokemon. In fact, the only member who doesn't keep their Pokemon throughout battles is N. Also, liberating pokemon with pokemon? That's dumb.  SPOILERS |

I think that's hardly a spoiler anymore, but hey, this is your section, Cabinet.
My team is now at level 54 and Alan is at level 60. Today I reached both Undella Town and Lacunosa Town.
...I tried beating Cynthia, but after her first pokémon Spiritomb had defeated three of my pokémon, I thought "Fuck this" and turned my DS off. Luckily I had saved the game just before I challenged her.
Tomorrow I'll investigate the Giant Chasm. I've caught tons of old pokémon so far, and tomorrow I'll catch even more.
Thank God for Quick Balls.
