Panda, here, robbing another LP. But unlike the last two I've set up a method to help me with screening and uploading the pictures.
For those of you who don't know what Shadowgate is, it's a Kemco produced game, the storyline is you are the last in line of kings, who must go through the Castle Shadowgate, and defeat an evil warlock who is going to summon the most terrifying creature, the Behemoth to destroy everyone.
So, let's start!
The logo, no surprises here.
That sounds bad.
Why me? I don't even have proper armor.
Help me, almighty god whoever you are.
This is Shadowgate's interface, it's divided into three categories, the top left area is the characters eyes, the bottom area is where we can do multiple actions like hitting or talking, and the top right area is the inventory where we hold our torches, items, spells and many more.
The first thing we should do is open the door.
Looking at the door.
Looking at the suspicious Skull.
I wonder if warlocks hide their extra keys like all the other evil baddies?
Okay so let's grab this key.
And finally go inside the Castle.
*missing screenshot: a bunch of creepy eyes inside the castle*
Quite a few deaths, unfortunately, but what the Warlock doesn't know is that I obtain the awsomeness that is Save States.
On the contrary, the joke's on you.
Well the first thing you should always get in the game -if there are any in the room- is the torches.
The torch is the only thing keeping us from tripping in the dark and face-planting our character.
You are warned twice to light up another Torch. The first warning is the torch getting weaker, then the second warning changes the "This is some real awesome music" to "Oh no everything growing dull". If you let it continue from there on without lighting another torch, well...
We'll be seeing this guy a lot as we go through the game.
This is just the Introduction, if you guys want more just tell me on here and I'll stick up Chapter 1.
