I used to have this game and it was pretty fun. The story mode was a bit of a joke to be honest though. It felt like it was just shoehorned in there for it's own sake.
Onto reviewing this review. It's a bit longer, which is good. But it isn't very long. Then again, you are reviewing a game that revolves around the multiplayer so there isn't much to add onto "You go online and kill people"
That said, you could have worked a sentance or two on level design into it. Were the maps easy to get around? Were they fun? ect.
As I said earlier, the screenshots could have been worked into the review more.
Overall it was pretty good. You could only write so much on a multiplayer based game.

yeah i felt like throwing some of the pics in the middle but ninty was against it for some weird reason (dunno why) but eventually i gave in cbf to argue we both had just woke up. but I persoannly didn't mind the campaign sure it was a tad more then repetitive but it sure as hell wasn't easy. but thats my opinion

This was supposed to be up yesterday but I was caught up in some business that needed to be sorted. Just Cause 2
Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, PC. Release date: March 23rd 2010. Background informationJust Cause 2 is the sequel to Just Cause (No surprises there) which was released in 2006. The protagonist, Rico Rodriguez (Think of a Hispanic James Bond), is a CIA black ops agent is sent into a Caribbean island to blow stuff up and kill a bunch of army guys. Oh and overthrow an evil dictator or something. Review Some time after the events of Just Cause 1, Rico Rodriguez is called into yet another tropical island to blow more stuff up and kill more troops to overthrow an evil dictator. So far so Just Cause 1. Now under any other circumstance I would be picking on Just Cause 2 for it's uninteresting story which basically consists of: Rico lands on island Meets faction leaders Blows stuff up Rides missiles Win game But Just Cause 2's brilliance doesn't hinge on it's story, it's the fricking around that makes it a joy to play. Like soNow before I start gushing on about how fun it is to sneak into a military base, rob a fighter jet and crash it into an oil rig I want to tell you what kind of game it is. Just Cause 2 is a third person sandbox shooter. Your sandbox is the island of Panau, a fictional island located in Asia. Panau is more or less split into four parts. First you have Panau City (The cluster of small islands to the left), the capital city of Panau. This is the urban part of the island. Filled with tall buildings and several million water tanks. Then there is the big island to the south of Panau City. This is 95% desert and the rest air strips. The large white island to the right of Panau city is the Berawan Besar Mountains, huge snow capped mountains ready to be climbed. (Or helicopters to be crashed into them) South of the Berawan Besar Mountains is 99% jungle. Every once in a while you come across small villages and communities which thrive in these areas. Now, a sandbox is only as good as the method you can get around it in. The GTA series has a bunch of cars you can steal, in Prototype you can glide by spraying blood out of your wrists, ect. Just Cause 2 has you spoilt for choice. You can rob cars, motorbikes and Tuk Tuks. Now available in hot pink! You can use Just Causes gimmick, the grappling hook and the parachute to slingshot yourself across the map, to scale and glide over buildings or you will use it to rob helicopters and planes. But now we come to my gripe about Just Cause 2. The world map. It is way too big. At 32 square kilometers it towers over other well known sandboxes like Stillwater or Liberty city. Because the map is is big getting around it can be a pain. There is a way around it though. After you do the first few missions you get a fast travel option. It is free and it will take you anywhere on the map. Provided you have been there already. Yeah, not the perfect system. That said though, Just Cause 2 is an amazing game and I would whole heartedly recommend it. While the map is huge, there is enough to keep you playing hours on end. Even if it is just because you really want that jumbo jet to spawn. So with that I would give this game a 9 out of 10. The one point was taken off because of the boring storyline and the gigantic map.

I do not intend to play these games, but I read the reviews for entertainment, and I quite like them. Good job, Boogie and Cabinet.

I don't blame you for not letting me do reviews too, boogie. I ran out of internet on monday and i may get a recharge today. For now, i'm on a phone(reason for my crappy writing.) hopefully i can talk to you either today or tomorrow about still filling in for you or not.

Quick concern about UT3 I had the 360 version, and I could only play campaign as the Ronin and there was no character customization. I've heard that the 360 lacked some things (like DLC) but that's a little much. Now I has a sad face
