(I know that Still have two L)
So, as the title says =/ The comic is still good, have a good storyline, but when I first saw it (like, middle of the year) there was something that got me going into seeing almost all the 600 pages in less than 2 weeks =/ And it was the humor, because almost all the pages had some inteligent joke or maybe a dumb funny one...
But it has lost this touch of humor, but it still get me reading it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday...but If the comic were like this even in the begining of it, I probably wouldn't have it read it in less than 2 weeks...maybe I would still read every single page, but I would get tired in less time, and leave it for the next day =/
That's my opinion, I don't know if anyone shares it, but I would like to see your opinion

Comics that have such large continuity may fluctuate in humor because Recon is trying VERY hard to align his story with what might actually occur in the game. Sometimes, the storyline might be the funniest thing ever, or long and boring. C'mon, cut him some slack. The messages at the bottom of the comics recently show some upsetting occurances lately at his expense, so fatigue and stress might play a role in this. Whatever the reason, it will get better and possess the "original" humor.

In my experiences, when a humorous comic becomes too storyline-driven, it loses some of its touch; the author has to keep this in check. Mooshie's Dominic Deegan, Lym'ree Kil'rahel's Misadventures of a Drow Wizard, and Morr's Gone with the Blastwave are all examples.
Both of you have a point; doing many-paneled comics is difficult to do, but at the same time, Recon has to keep his humor in touch with the original feel. Re-reading archives helps that sort of thing.

Dominic Deegan no longer focuses on humor, MotDW updates once in a blue moon and focuses more on story, and GwtBW is losing its touch, but they're still worth reading for the archives' humor and the current storylines.
I'm not saying PkmnX will lose its worth. I'm saying that Recon has to remember to keep in touch with the humor.

I took a look at some of the older comics, and compared them with the comics that now appear. There is definately a contrast, but in my point of view, some of the funniest things happened between May and Brendan. I believe all of those who read all of the comic so far might understand this too.
