SJ, thats what I'm talking about. Some people actually LIKE the modern disney. Your stating that Disney sucks as if it's a fact, yet it is just your opinion.
And choaman, I like all forms of disney. Except the more recent episodes of the Hannah Montana Show and the Jonas Brothers. God, I hate the jonas brothers. Anyway, you should respect what disney is doing. They have to change with the times or they'll go down the crapper. It's disheartening for the old fans, but it's the sad truth.

You people are too narrow-minded. The people against modern disney have one of the worst cases of tunnel vision I have ever seen. Next to republicans. ? So it becomes synonymous with narrow-mindedness? You start off with a post that wonderfully exemplifies the narrow-minded thinking you look down upon and even go so far as to make a generalization of a political faction, calling me narrow-minded on two fronts. I just stated the immorality of Disney, yet you EXPECT me to respect them including sexual innuendos into their works? You EXPECT me to believe that change will bring about adaption to sustain its popularity? I don’t have to appreciate, nor conform, with bad movies and series they pump out and label as Disney works. What I made in the previous posts are either opinions or inferences backing up why their quality is declining. You can’t just say that we should respect what Disney is doing, peddling the “go with the times” cop-out. There is no justification I actually need to provide for not liking something to anybody, especially one who makes a hypocritical assumption that people are narrow-minded because of affiliation/preference.

Okay, first of all, sorry about the republican thing. I keep forgetting you can't convey sarcasm in writing.
And by respect what they're doing, I don't mean you have to say it's okay. I'm saying that if they choose to change their company to stay on top, that's their descision. Their is no reason why you should be caught up in the way a company is handling itself. If you don't like new disney works, don't watch them.
About the narrow-minded matter, I'm sorry and your completly right. I need to learn to shut up when I think about stuff like that.
In all honesty, I should just stop arguing on the internet. Other people take things like this way more seriously than I do, and I never seem to realize that. I admit you have your points, and that my argument has a very shaky basis. I just don't like it when people think their opinion is the way things should be. The reason so many sexual inuendo's appear in disney works is often because you LOOK for them. It may not be the case for you, but I don't realise many of the innundos unless I'm deliberetly looking for them. Well, other than some of the blatanlty obvious ones, but those arn't that common.

People invest in the company, and iirc, we also have a stake in the how well the company does. When they bought Marvel, for instance, it made their stocks decrease slightly. If their quality declines, despite them being convinced that it's the right thing to do, then it becomes the shareholder's business by all means. I care about the company because we are investors. THAT'S why I'm so concerned. People naturally look for the best outcome or event, and in this case we reminisce about the past. It's not just Disney that's going down, either; however, it's the topic. Even if people are looking for any sign of them, don't you find it odd that they appeared so many times within a decade?

But lots of people say that Disney sucks these days. It's only their opinion, but if a majority of old Disney fans think so, it may become a fact. Of course, I think it's already a fact, but as you said, some people actually like the modern Disney and they have rights to their opinions too.

It's not fact - it's called an inference.
When somebody has irrefutable evidence and can back their claim up logically using this system of truths, it's a fact.
If somebody states and opinion but can back it up with logic and insight, although not necessarily a universal sentiment, it's an inference.
Opinion is their belief that doesn't need to be backed up with anything because it's impossible to prove them wrong, though people use this as a cop-out way too much.

Isn't Scar the coolest Disney villain, or what? If I become evil some day, I want to be like Scar.
Also, hyenas Nazi march FTW!
