As I already said in the Spam Lounge, Disney has really hit an all-time low. Hannah Montana, High School Musical and many other things they have these days suck big time, because:
1) They're ridiculous 2) They're embarrassing 3) They're unlike all good old Disney classics
The purpose of this thread is to remember the days when Disney was still good. You can talk about your favorite Disney characters, comics and movies, the animation, the animators, the old voice actors, anything you want. You can also post videos, pics and links if you want to. You can say what you like about Disney's recent downfall, and if you actually like Disney today, you can discuss it too.

My favorite Disney movies are Aladdin, Little Mermaid and Lion King. They're funny and have hilarious characters like Genie and Timon and Pumba. They also have the best villains. Jafar and Ursula scared me as a kid, and Scar is a very unusual villain, because he actually reached his goal, which is interesting.

Eh, high school musical isn't that bad. Well, at least the first two. I havn't seen the third. I like aladdin... I havn't seen the lion king in a long time. And what was that movie about the woman who dressed up as a man to join the army? I liked that movie too. I think they should do some of the oldy-style animated movies, but the new ones arn't that bad. I liked Bolt, and G-Force was pretty good. I still want to see Up.
Holy crap. don't you guys ever sit through the commercials on TV and realize disney is working on like 10 movies at the same time? It still amazes me.

Disney was awesome when they did movies like Aladin, but now its Real-Life or CGI, never something like Bambi or Dumbo.

Old-style animated movies are much better than the new ones. I haven't seen Bolt or G-Force, but I doubt I'd like them. Up seems interesting, though. Holy crap. don't you guys ever sit through the commercials on TV and realize disney is working on like 10 movies at the same time? It still amazes me. I don't watch TV a lot, and even if I did, I doubt there would be too many Disney commercials there. I live in Finland, remember?

The one that has a fish that turns into a girl looks like it was stolen from Miyazaki.

You obviously DIDN'T look it up or you would have know they dubbed it, not that they "stole" it.

I think Disney is falling because they are conforming too much with our modern society. That's not to say that conformity is evil, but they dumb things down so much I would be embarrassed to say that I was in any way affiliated with them. On top of that, garbage like Beverly Hills Chihuahua can go to Hell. You don't even need to watch the movie to determine it's sh!t and fail. That's the tip of the iceberg as well. Have you ever heard of rumours about the immorality of Disney? I bet you haven't seen them all. I would link the picture with the Little Mermaid cover... but you can just Google it. But to avoid risking this sounding like the typical "things were better back then" generic response, I'll just say that they need to stop relying so much on computer animation and actors and stick with classical animation.
