True... but I can't stand how slow they get when the evolve. Treecko would have to be my favorite starter. What they lack in Speed they make up in Defence/Attack/SpecialAttack

My favorite starters are all Water-types... Except Blastoise. For some reason I've never really liked Blastoise.
But let's not get off-topic.

Yes lets not get off topic.
Anywho, A question. Which E4 is stronger/more difficult to beat? Hoeen or Kanto? And which Hoeen one?
For me its the E4 from R/S. The reason why is I always started with a Treeko. Glacia was a birch to beat. Then you had the dragon guy. No dragon E4 member is easy to beat but this guy was TOUGH. Then Stephen. Really tough to beat when you have a grass pokemon as your main team member.

Kanto was hard, but it was always easy in the first gen, since I was able to beat them easily with the aid of glitches at the time.
Hoenn's E4... It took me MONTHS to beat them, seriously.

What they lack in Speed they make up in Defense/Attack/Special Attack that is true but i still like treecko, grovyle, n sceptile better =P besides leaf blade owns I'll give you that. Leaf Blade is my Goto move for my Gallade in Platinum. Sorry just wanted to say that. Also, aesthetically, Treeco's Evolutionary line looks cool.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
YOU GUYS HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE HOENN E4?
Septile+ Makuhita= Pwn't Sydney. Septile+ Filler (Or Dusclops)= Pwn't Ghost type (Can't remember her name) Septile+ Lanturn (And/ or Manectric)+ Makuhita (And/ or Torkoal)= Pwn't Glacia Any pokemon packing Ice-type moves= Pwn't Drake Septile+ Manectic+ Torkoal+ Lanturn= Pwn't Steven Wallace is a bit tougher, and depends on your preferences and situation.
I have never beaten the Gary. My friend always beat him for me.
Lorieli = Much harder than Glacia. (Damn Lapras!) Bruno= A joke. Agatha= Hard to beat if you don't have super effective moves. Lance= HOLY F*** crap! MUCH harder to beat than Drake! Gary= HOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY SHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT! (Damn Aerodactyl!)
Will post my LG team later.

I never had a problem with Loreli. Just have a strong Electric and Fire type and all her pokemon go down.

Just get a Pikachu at level 5, train it, feed it all the Protein and Special Attack items it can eat, and teach it Thunder or Thunderbolt and then evolve it into Raichu.
