I really want to get a computer that works with Shoddy so I can pwn people with a NU Normal-Type team just to piss them off. It'd be hilarious if I could win an Über tourney with that team, as well. Then sit back and wait for the "H4X!" trolling.

I don't see what's wrong with a dog being able to fight up-close. Just because the animation had fists in Gen. IV, doesn't mean it actually needed it. Hell, Trash had hands and paws but Gyarados can still use it. The definition of close combat, given by the game, works fine for Arcanine. It lets up it's guard to get close and kick butt.
