Pokemon Black/White

Am I allowed to describe my battle against the Unova Champion Alder, oh Cabinet the Spoiler-Alert? The games have been out for some time now.

Edit: Well, here goes:

Sirius vs. Alder

I sent out my Carracosta Casper. Alder sent out Accelgor. I tried to use Curse, but Accelgor OHKO'd Casper with Energy Ball.

I sent out my Gothitelle Desiree. I used Psychic that didn't do much damage. Accelgor used Bug Buzz that did a shitload of damage.

I used Psychic again. It wasn't enough. For some reason Accelgor used Focus Blast, but it was enough to knock out Desiree.

I sent out Edith the Swanna. I used Fly. That fucking Accelgor used Me First and copied Fly. Edith's Fly missed. Accelgor's Fly hit.

I healed Edith with a Hyper Potion and she survived Energy Ball. I used Surf that finally knocked out Accelgor.

Alder's second pokémon was Bouffalant. I knew Edith wasn't going to win, so I healed Casper with a Revival Herb. Bouffalant used Stone Edge. So much for Edith.

I sent out Casper and used Curse. Bouffalant used Earthquake, which didn't do much thanks to Curse and Solid Rock.

Bouffalant used Earthquake again. Casper used Aqua Tail. It missed. After another Earthquake Casper was in trouble, but thankfully Aqua Tail landed a critical hit. Bouffalant fainted.

Alder sent out Druddigon and I healed Casper. Druddigon used Night Slash that did hardly anything. Casper used Rock Slide and got Druddigon's HP to yellow. Then Druddigon used Outrage, and Casper beat it with another Rock Slide.

Alder sent out Volcarona. Casper had just hit level 73, so I switched pokémon and sent out Felix the Haxorus. I ordered Dragon Dance. Volcarona used Quiver Dance. Then Felix used Dragon Claw and OHKO'd Volcarona, but also got burned by Flame Body.

Alder sent out Vanilluxe. Felix's Brick Break wasn't just enough to beat it, and so Felix fell to Blizzard.

I sent out Alan the Serperior. I didn't expect him to beat Vanilluxe, because I used the first turn to heal Edith with a Revival Herb. However, since Vanilluxe's Blizzard missed, Alan's Leaf Blade finished it off.

Alder had only one pokémon left, Escavalier. I knew it was over for him, but beating that last one was hard! Alan lost quickly to Aerial Aces and X-Scissors despite me healing him a few times. Alan's Leaf Blades didn't do a thing, not even with Overgrow activated.

So I sent out Belle the Krookodile. She lost too, but at least her Stone Edge and Earthquake did a respectable amount of damage.

All I had left was Edith. A bird against a bug.

If I remember correctly, Edith had to use Surf only once, and then it was over.

Yeah. E4 battles are ok, anything team plasma related or post game is not.

I'll allow spoilers for black and White at the end of the month.

Yeah, Escavalier can be tough. I'm sure Venonfrog can attest to how well Prince-Albert-in-a-can can do under pressure.

My fight with Alder was a lot easier. I sent out Volcarona and just spammed Quiver Dance while Accelgor tried to Bug Buzz me. Easy sweep.

SORT OF SPOILERS FOR THIS SEASON'S FERRIS WHEEL BATTLE(Pokemon White)

Nimbasa's Ferris Wheel battle for Autumn is one of the weirdest freaking things I've ever seen. So there was a female clerk. I beat her. We ride the ferris wheel together. And she starts crying for no freaking reason. Then she asks you to sit close to her until the ride ends. I spend the next few seconds asking myself what the hell just happened. She asks to see you again, so I come back the next day, battle her, and she tells you she wishes she had a little brother like you. We ride the ferris wheel again. She cries again. Then tells you she really wishes you were her little brother. Seriously WHAT THE HEEEEELL?!

I know... I battled that one as well... I was freaked out...

From now on when I see Team Plasma, I think Panda and Sir Smug both holding sturdy wooden cricket bats with rusty nails sticking through them, while there's a Team Plasma grunt quivering in a corner while being internally bruised and coughing up blood.

That thought alone is what let me rip through Team Plasma's pokemon. Which is also why I grinded Sir Smug with every trainer I could battle.

Speaking of, he's up to level 72.

It's not weird at all. Trisha is just a sad, lonely woman who desperately needs some company, so she rides the Ferris Wheel with everyone who defeats her in battle. I feel sorry for her, I can only imagine what she must have gone through... Probably her boyfriend/husband dumped her and she's afraid of losing her job (and for good reason, hanging out in amusement parks instead of working every day!) or something like that.

The only Elite Four member that actually managed to put up a fight was Shauntal. She nearly wiped the floor with me.

So, er... You keep only one pokémon with you? Just asking, if you managed to beat the Elite Four with only Sir Smug, and Shauntal nearly wiped the floor with you.

I don't think that term applies if you use only one pokémon against multiple pokémon, by the way. If your opponents manage to defeat all your pokémon with just one of their pokémon, that's wiping the floor with you. But if they use their whole team just to almost beat your only pokémon, that's not wiping the floor with you, that's just desperate struggling.

...Is Sir Smug still a Snivy? I remember you saying that you didn't want to evolve him. So if you really sweeped the Pokémon League with just a Snivy, that's... wow.

Sadly, Sir Smug is a Serperior now so he's kinda lost his smug but he's still got most of it. And I seem to have lied a tiny bit. I have a six team of pokemon, but they either work as HM slaves or decoys in case Sir Smug faints, Hence the reason I said "Nearly wiped the floor with me."

Yea, I know, I'm sort of a terrible trainer. Believe me, I did try my best to keep them up, but they only made it around the level 15-20 mark. before I just stopped training them for Sir Smug's sake as he was getting his butt kicked too early in the game.
