Whatever works for you. I always keep my starter a few levels higher than the rest of my team, but I still train them all evenly.

So you made the same mistake as I did. It's not worth using Master Ball to catch Reshiram or Zekrom, because they are fairly easy to catch with other Balls, just like Dialga and Palkia.
If I had saved my Master Ball for Kyurem, I could have avoided wasting my precious Revival Herbs.

Well, yea that's gonna be a problem, but that won't stop me from trying.
Also when I do catch Reshiram I'll be naming him Anti-Venom, therefore if Kyurem is the third legendary of the trio, then I'll need to firgure out a name to make them all evenly balanced.

I know how you feel. I got a crit on a shiny Vulpix in Sapphire. My Gameboy barely survived my wrath.

We all have bad experiences with shinies. I knocked out a shiny Lairon in Ruby with a critical Crunch, and I've encountered a shiny Muk in the Battle Tower and a shiny Wingull in one of the Battle Tents in Emerald.
But your experience must be the worst I've ever heard. You didn't accidentally knock out the shiny, the shiny beat you! Ouch!
I haven't encountered any shinies in Black yet. I wish I would.

I found a shiny Bulbasaur in PBR QQ
Only shinies I've seen in Gen V is through the GTS, which is even more useless than before. I searched Medicham and EVERY single trade was Reshiram/Zekrom level 9 or under. It's so BS, especially when you consider the fact that you can't even trade that. It says the Pokemon is illegal or something like that when you try to trade a Lv 5 Zekrom/etc.
Clearly they thought of preventing obvious hacks from being traded, but why make it so that you can ask for something that's impossible even with cheats?

Okay, it's 25th March now. Now I can tell how Comnurmi beat Cynthia for me.
It was quite easy. He just spammed Alan's Coil and got a lucky hit on Spiritomb with Dragon Tail. He Dragon Tailed Garchomp away too, but didn't manage to OHKO it. Then Eelektross lost to Leaf Blade, Braviary beat Alan, Belle the Krookodile beat Braviary, Comnurmi revived Alan, and beat Milotic and Lucario with him. Then Comnurmi switched to Belle to soften Garchomp with Intimidate, and after the land shark had defeated Belle, Alan took it out. Cynthia's last pokémon was Spiritomb, and at that point I asked if I could finish the battle, so Felix the Haxorus would get his revenge on that damn Double Team spammer. Comnurmi agreed, and so Felix beat Spiritomb with one Dragon Claw.
That battle happened almost two weeks ago. Now my team's a lot stronger. I believe I can get them all to level 100 by next Monday.

They are the best we have got - Proboards doesn't have black bar spoiler tags. They work though, that's all that matters.
