I finally did it! I got my team to level 100. I'm so proud of my babies, they grew up so fast...
My game time: 101 hours precisely. Not too shabby.

These games are awesome. I've been dicking around the battle subway mostly, raising competitive-level pokemon. It's pretty easy to get good IV's/Evs/Natures/Moves this gen with all the new little tricks and reusable TMs and stuff.
If anyone wants to battle or trade or whatever my FC is in my signature and my email's banovgATgmailDOTcom. Feel free to drop a line and issue a challenge or something.

Hmm, running Marvelous bridge is a pretty good idea. I've been trying to Masuda Method a shiny Stunfisk. Yes, you read that right. Stunfisk. I freaking LOVE Stunfisk. They're so cute and derpy... Good luck! I bought Black on release and White the other day, despite promising myself that I wouldn't buy both >.> Right now I'm trying to get this stupid Deerling to level with my team (Dewott, Gurdurr, Scraggy, Swoobat, Yamask. Awful team, I know).

Awful? There's nothing wrong with your team.

I just find the type coverage to usually not work out, plus the fact that none are fully evolved yet (aside from that stupid Swoobat, which sucks). Deerling and Yamask will evolve in about ten seconds though.

You have Scraggy. Nothing else matters. Jump kick the entire world. YESSSSSSSS! After about 200 eggs I finally got a shiny Stunfisk! Now to train it.

Lucky son of a gun. I tried that with a Braviary, but I gave up when I got one with a good nature. And I can't wait for my Scraggy to evolve; highlight of my team.

I still need to trade over some of my rarer pokemon from previous games. If anyone needs any, I'm able to breed all the previous started. Still looking to get an Oshawott and Tepig among other pokemon though.

Aw yeah. First day of the order, and it hits Raleigh, barely a stone's throw away from house. Two days later and it's still there. Least it's going to be there once I get to house. I am SO going to disappear into Unova and never crawl out once I get there ;D

Just be careful not to overdose, VMag. This forum already had one member shipped off to Pokemon Rehab.

Pokedose is kind of what I'm aiming for, Rap. Right now, a few months in Unova is what I need ;D HE PUT THAT STYLUS TO HIS HEAD AND PULLED THE TRIGGER~ Alright, that just sounds depressing. How bout... my time in Unova will be a new opportunity, a new life. A new Beginning

As long as you don't come down with the Pokerus as well. If you do, then we'll have to send over the specialists.

I'm up on my shot records and I should have 2/5ths a bottle of doxycycline. Those should work in the Pokeworld!

So anyway, I was thinking of making a chess-themed team.(Only superficially)
So far I've got King - Jellicent, Empoleon, and Serperior. They're all kingly in my opinion, but I'm likely going to choose Serperior since I've already got it trained and everything. Queen - Jellicent or Vespiqueen. I've always wanted to try Vespiqueen. Her signature attacks are quite fascinating. Bishop - This is so obvious. Stunfisk. Okay, okay, Bisharp. Knight - Escavalier
Here's where I run into trouble.
Rook - I have NO idea. There are two ways I could go here. Rook comes from a sanskrit word for chariot so I can go for chariot-like things. It's also, of course, in the shape of a castle/tower so I can go there. As the tower thing is more easily recognized, I tried to focus on that. Things I sort of considered: Metagross since it's legs seem tower-like to me. Bellsprout because of it's connection to that one crappy Tower. Protobass because I'm weird. Bronzong...TOTALLY Rook-like. If you squint. A lot.
Pawn - Okay, so there's the obvious choice, Pawniard, but I already have a Bisharp. Is there anything else that could be considered pawnlike?

If you squint. A lot. Pawn - Is there anything else that could be considered pawnlike? I totally agree with Bronzong for Rook, and Protobass works too. Of course, I'm just a BIG fan of Bronzong, I love them. Hm... you could also consider the role of a Rook: going any direction in a horizontal line, it's role is defense, to keep your enemy from making effective moves or to be that one slow-acting trap that seals his doom when he's forgotten all about that piece. You could use a tank or wall or something for your Rook, or a set-up mon to prepare the field or debuff the enemy for everyone else. Pawn, a big support player. Not the strongest member of the team, but the most enthusiastic. Always ready to go forward, even if he lacks the power to take down a fully-charged Tyranitar. It'd help if I knew what sort of Mons you like-- Dude! Perfect slot for your Stunfisk!
